Hi, I'm Michael.
Clearwater-based wedding photographer capturing the moments that matter most.
I believe your wedding day should be documented the way it actually felt. Not staged, not stiff, just real. My approach is centered on preserving the genuine moments, emotions, and little details that make your story uniquely yours.
I've been photographing weddings since 2023, and being trusted with such a meaningful day is something I never take lightly. I take an easygoing, organized approach, guiding portraits naturally, keeping family photos quick and painless, and stepping back when moments unfold on their own. You should be living your wedding day, not managing it.
A love for art that became something more
I've always been drawn to creating things. At 13, I started drawing realistic portraits, spending hours focused on the details and trying to get everything just right. Creating art became almost meditative for me, a way to slow down and turn something I imagined into something beautiful.
Photography came into my life when I got a camera to photograph my drawings, but I quickly fell in love with it in its own right. One of my earliest memories behind a camera was taking photos at Taylor Swift's 1989 concert in 2015 with a little point-and-shoot camera. I loved capturing the experience, and those photos turned out better than I expected.
My artistic background still influences how I photograph today, from my eye for composition and light to my attention to detail. The difference is that now, I get to use those skills to preserve real moments and memories.
The moment everything clicked
In 2023, a close friend asked me to photograph her wedding. It was my first, and I was honored that she trusted me with such an important day. When she received her photos, she was beyond thrilled and encouraged me to pursue photography professionally.
Seeing how much those images meant to her, while realizing how much I loved the experience myself, made everything click. Since then, I haven't looked back. Being able to meet new people, capture meaningful memories, and be part of one of the most special days in someone's life is incredibly fulfilling. Seeing couples' reactions when they receive their photos is the cherry on top.
A little more about me
Outside of photography, you'll usually find me at the beach, enjoying a good cup of coffee, sketching, working out, or spending time with the people closest to me. I'm also a big pop music fan who loves concerts, game nights, and comedy shows. The Office, Parks and Recreation, The Middle, and Gilmore Girls are a few of my comfort shows.
I appreciate the little things that make life feel full, and I think that carries into my work. My style is clean, timeless, and centered on emotion over perfection. I want you to have photographs that are beautiful, but more importantly, that bring you back to how your wedding day felt.
